Man is aware that he does not need the body to exist, for he existed without his body before he formed his body.

It is the belief that God needs a body to be God that reduces God to the level of murder, of rape, of greed, of lust, of hate, of genocide, of all things evil in the world. It is the belief that God needs a body that traps man in this recycling of his evil thoughts, thoughts he cannot erase from his awareness, no matter what philosophy or religion or ideal he follows that promises release from his darkness of his self centredness that is belief in being a dual enitity to the One God of Life. Awareness of good is awareness of evil; awareness of evil is awareness of good. They cannot be separated; this is the wisdom man needs to discover within himself.

There is no way but one way to transcend the mentality of good and evil, and that is, to transcend one's thinking of good and of evil. This is to transcend the thought of flesh, of sense, for it is by attaching oneself to images or sounds or smells in one's awareness by thinking "I like" or "I don't like" that manifests good and evil in the world. It is the law of the breath of the Spirit of Life, and no man can alter this law of sense preference, of united good and evil thinking, irregardless of how hard he tries. The law of attraction (and repulsion) cannot be destroyed or altered by man, but it can be transcended (rejected) by man. This is to bear one's own cross as Jesus bore his own cross.

Man can discover the how he becomes attached to his sense of self, but he cannot discover why. No amount of questioning God will reveal this answer. God said "let it be, and it is so." The why of man's existence is, and always will be, a mystery to him, because his existence is an infinite thought continuum; where in infinity can an answer to infinity be found?

Man has invested eons of time trying to determine the why of his flesh/sense existence. Who can say how many books have been written on this very subject? Accepting that there is no answer to the why of flesh/sense awareness is the first step to turning around and to changing one's way of thinking. Of truly being humbled of the Mystery that is God's Word "let it be, and it was so."
