What I have come to discover is that in order to step into the reality of the The Word, which is its glory, one must come to understand the nature of The Word, that of being the eternal condition of God being conscious of God. A child is given a new toy. Its mother names it "spinning top."  But until the child uses the toy of all of the causes and conditions that allowed it to come forth, to be, "spinning top" will not be manifested (known) to the child.  And should the child manifest The Word that is "spinning top" does it remain forever bound to this Word?  No.  As jufa pointed out, "the moving finger having writ, moves on." The child can try to stay in the conditions of spinning and not move on to discover other (infinite) conditions of God being conscious of God, but regardless of how hard it tries, the moving finger will have its way and have its say, have your taste of "this" Tom or Jane it declares, but when you're done, move on, there are other fish to fry.

No man has seen God and lived because the life of God is in the ever expanding, ever unfolding, ever-being-tasted revelation of Its Word (of this, Its present condition).  Know this diagram of ascension beyond this Word (this condition appearing) into this Word (this condition appearing) and 1) there is no way you can get stuck in any one condition of I am and 2) you will know the eternal TASTE of your life to be God, in Christ reconciling the world (conditions/words) unto Himself and 3) you will no longer fear death because the appearance of the condition that is life itself, God's consciousness of God cannot die:  "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
