"Many will willingly offer their life for a belief, whether in God or Country."

Yet the real need is to lay down our beliefs for the Life.

"In this world we feared our Fathers wrath, having robbed God of His most treasured possession we ourselves"

This makes me think of another thought. Mankind (ego) first assigns to God a punishing intent. Then man tries to usurp that perogative by punishing himself, thinking he will mitigate God's "wrath" that he assigned to God. In so doing, man (ego) attempts to seat himself as "God" in the temple of God (body), showing himself that he is God.

Good post, Stephen.
