Quote:
Those who wear clothes look to the launderer,
but the naked soul wears illumination.
Either withdraw from the naked
or take off your clothes like them.
If you can't become wholly naked,
take the middle way
and take off at least some of what you wear.

This Rumi thought speaks to me in a strange but relevant manner.....8o ....as I find myself 'dawntreading' through the siren-infested reefs of 'knowing' and 'unknowing' ..... which all too often now is a cacophony of dissonance.... an anxious simian seritonin buzz posing as the True Real Goods Choir....;)

Each 'voice' is trying to yoke me with yet another arrogance of believing I will acquire the keys to the door leading to truth.... not via some arduous slow circuitous route worthy of a pilgrim going through the dictated stations of the yoke.... no, the fraudulent seductive sales pitch is that I will be on the direct line to Truth....BUT in the end only set up for yet another bitter sickly-sweet-herenow-gotcha-ness of some kind of dogmatic intransigence and spiritual tyranny..... Abba lash me securely to Your mast.... stopper my ears ....shield my eyes.... take this Odysseus through.... even if this passage is on the sharp weaning edge of the sword of Your tough-Love:eek

So many 'dis-spirited materialists' and 'dis-embodied spiritualists' .....so much freedom of discussion.....so little independence of mind! Ahhhhh, the sacred unscaled eyes are suddenly balmed ....baptized with a new clarity of sight..... THE MIND OF CHRIST....CHRIST CONSCIOUSNESS OF I AMness within this vessel TRULY KNOWS THE WAY through the python-wind's besieging buffets that trying to prevent our ship from reaching Fair Havens..... and out of the shotscape of dueling dualisms....:lol
