"Pay ATTENTION, for you do not know what Day your Lord is coming" Math.24:42

Carnal Mind is composed of thoughts, knows only thoughts and is thought itself. It has no reality outside of thoughts.
Thoughts are the only sole requisite for perceiving this material world. "Stillness" is the sole requisite for the realisation of the "SELF'. Thought is a total barrier to knowing God. The Mind of Christ is absence of thought, all thoughts are incarcerated.

Only thought creates Space and Time. All thoughts are a chemical reaction, a mere cerebral activity. All these things are a DISTRACTION.

So the Christ says 'Pay attention". Now if you are familiar with the story of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, you will trealise how the disciples failed to pay attention, for when he came to his disciples "He found them sleeping".Of course it is easy to start, but very hard to maintain.

Pay attention and you will discover who you are, it is not that phantom appearing in consciousness as it's own subject, the "self".

Paul says: "Be on the alert." 1Cor.16:13

"Devote yourself to prayer, keep ALERT" Col.4:2

"Do not SLEEP AS THE OTHERS DO, but let us be ALERT." 1The5:6

"If therefore ye will not wake up, I will come like a thief." Apocalypse 3v.3

Pay attention to that within, give up outward observation which is thought.

Do not spend your whole life from the cradle to the grave paying attention to everything you ARE NOT.

Thought is discursive and bound to serial time. The thought of the Absolute is the only Absolute Thought. Pay attention to that and you will become that.

Again I say unto you "Pay Attention" also my last words will be the same "Pay Attention".

Some perhaps are spontaneously awakening to this mystery: "we shall not all sleep, but we all shall be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye". The night of the long continuum of darkness and all it's chaotic associations is passing, and the day is at hand.

Just pay attention, be vigilant and you will see the light of Christ laying in the Tomb all the darkness of your earthly and seemingly meaningful realtionships. All those relationships will be neatly and tidily folded up and put aside.
The Resurrection is the ending of all objective thought, where all those ancient memories held so dear are folded up, the dream is over. The Stone is rolled away. The Body is that vault, that Tomb wherein conceptual self lay dead in sins and trespasses.

Pay attention for the Stone is rolled away, there is nothing there.

Again I say "PAY ATTENTION" Let Spirit do the work not carnal mind. You have to go through Romans 7 to be awake in Romans 8.

This is not about paying attention to "self", but to the "I AM" with all your heart and all your soul. This is the "flip-side" of the Old and New Covenants.:D
