Questions:
i am the only one who did not believe in devil(Lucifer) and my mom started to say that i am a false teacher and called a pastor to lead me back to a
'straight' path. To counter this, i just use love(greatest weapon ever fashion) for them. But, the problem is, i cannot answer them about devil in
Job.....
The devil is not actually Job's Satan, for devil comes from the Greek word 'diabolos' which means throw through
and has more to do with "fiery darts" or the source of evil thoughts or no doubt all thoughts not of God and appears 38 times in the N.T. though on 3
occasions it is translated as "false accusers." But the Biblical Satan is not an alternative for 'Devil' and appears 19 times in the O.T. and
36 times in the N.T. Satan comes from the Hebrew word 'Sathan' it means adversary and while King David was referred to as "a
man after God's heart" he was also referred to as an adversary or Satan 1 Sam.29:4. The first remarkable use of Satan is with the Israelites coming
out of Egypt with Balak. Balak the King of Moab looked to the services of Balaam to curse the Israelites as they made their advance towards them, and of course
Balaam was eager to get his reward and rose up early that morning only to find his Ass would not budge for "an adversary/satan against him" with a
"drawn sword" unable to get past the angel or Satan the dumb animal was given speech and "rebuked the madness of the prophet."
So Satan reproved Balaam for beating his Ass and so changed Balaam's mind when he went to the Moabites he blest the
Israelites instead of cursing them.
Paul was given a "thorn in the flesh" a "messenger from Satan to test him" so providentially Satan is used by God in a constructive way as
an adversary a tester as it was with Christ in the wilderness. This is not the Devil per se which is more the carnal mind the mind of man separate from
God....."ye are of your father the Devil, and the lust of your father ye will do".
In the Book of Job Satan wanted to test Job who had been so blest by God and so God allowed Satan to test Job. Satan had no power to destroy Job that was from God as it says: "Thou movest against him[Job] to destroy him without cause" Job 2:3 So Job's Satan is an angel of God who regularly met in the Presence of God and was an angel to achieve God's plans and purposes.
and many others which prove of their existance. "satan(lucifer) has will, emotion, mind because they talk to God"
Lucifer is not Satan but if you closely read the Book of Isaiah......."How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the
morning; thou art cast down to the ground, which did weaken the nations....for thou didst say in thy heart, I will ascend unto heaven, I will exalt my throne
above the stars of God." Here there is no suggestion of tempting man, it is about the soaring ambition of the King of Babylon. So Isaiah is told
"Thou shalt take up this parable against the King of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased, the golden city ceased. The Lord hath broken the
staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the ruler. He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is
persecuted." Lucifer then was the King of Babylon, the fallen angel who had ambitions of being God alone but is overthrown by his own
enemies.
No doubt your pastors will then bring up the 'anointed Cherub' in Ezekiel who walked with God on the holy Mountain, who was in the Garden of Eden and like the King of Tyre is described as a "man and not god" Ezekiel 28:2 It is clear then this refers to Adam in the Garden of Eden in all his pristine glory and who walked with God.If you read Luke 3:38 Adam was a son of God.
What i do know from Daddy:
Our soul has taken the fruit of good and evil <--- this is the cloud mind. I think the evil spirit came out of our emotion and will, the evil(negative)
energy comes from our mind which give them power to exist. ----They are what you believe in---
Help me in :
am i correct about evil spirit creation i mention above, my beloves???
No it is not an evil spiritual creation which so many mention through lack of understanding on this difference between soul and
spirit................ but a soulish creation the difference being Gen.1 where Elohim brings in a spiritual creation out of water and Gen.2 where we have a
different God the Lord God who cannot create but can only FORM a soulish creation out of dust of the earth and as we all know dust returns to dust form never
endures. But the New Creation always is. It says "the soul that sins" s and God can "destroy body and soul in hell" but never the
spirit!
secondly, how to explain to them about the book of Job and please give me some advice (other scripture that can be used to attack me and how to counter them)...
I covered this above
I know that there are certain wonderfull articles in this site talking about the devil, i am sory that i have not read them (some i have read but
never touch the Job Case)... please help me.
There is much more essentially "the carnal mind is at enmity with God" the carnal mind is the playground of
Satan and where the devil makes his bullet or fiery darts to fire at others, it is also known as the "ego" the "old nature" "old
man" or the "flesh.' There is much more to this subject you could write a whole book, and if you run into anymore problems please post your
query.
May Father who is full of grace and truth brings us to His fullness.
Amen...Amen...Amen
AMEN
