The aim of life is God-realization. In other words, cosmic consciousness is the ultimate goal of all mankind.
Our realization of God is in proportion to our degree of having risen above a material sense or consciousness of life into al spiritual sense (consciousness) of life. This is true because spiritual consciousness is the knowledge of God.
Eventually every man shall realize cosmic or divine consciousness before his long journey of life is completed.
Now, more than ever before, there are those persons in the earth who desire and have been prepared for this culminating experience. These persons are present among us in greaser numbers than in all of history. They are the who have welcomed this new day, crossing its threshold with joy and thanksgiving.
Many are those now who desire to know complete cosmic conscious unity with God in all its fullness. But most are ready for it only in part. They are ascending in consciousness gradually, moment by moment. And this is the safest way to attain the complete experience.
It is attained by intensifying one's awareness of God. This is done through much aloneness and communion with God. It is the face to face encounter with God that brings about the change in consciousness. In His Presence we are transformed.
At the same time it is of utmost importance that one manifest Him in every aspect of his outer life, bringing Him into every task in his daily routine. What is realized in the secret place within must find expression in the outward?
What keeps man from cosmic consciousness is a sense of separation-the feeling that God is far away and separate from man, instead of being within the very center of his being. This causes one to seek God through sources outside of himself, while not realizing that the kingdom of God is within. We are complete in Him and nothing can be added to us nor taken away from us.
But a continuos companionship with our Father, an abiding in the Light of His Presence, brings about a realization of our Oneness with Him. This realization increases and increases until we see only God, One, All, in our experience.
The transformation into a full realization of unity is then apt to take place at anytime!
Think of it! We shall all be changed (from material, personal consciousness to cosmic Consciousness) in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye.
