That which man calls science has discovered that the earliest physical man that used tools, which implies analysis of thought, is homo habilis, a species of homo sapien that lived approximately 2 million years ago. 2 million years! For but a blip on the radar screen of the thought continuum of God, man has been rubbing two thoughts together so as to ensure the continuation of his idealism of God.
So arrogant and vain is man that he believes that God did not exist as God before his human mind of dualism appeared as an expression of Consciousness Itself. And yet, the evidence of our own thought analysis of our own history of physicality completely nullifies this self-centred concept of the conscious awareness of Consciousness. Even when man analyzes the evidence he himself has found that physical man is the late-comer in the world of conscious sense appearance - the cockroach has been consciously aware for 50 million years - he denies this evidence and places himself in the exalted position of being the image of "God in flesh." Until I appeared, he concludes, God was non-existent. Until God breathed the life of sense awareness into Adam, he declares, God, or Consciousness, was a vacuum of nothingness. Oh how great is my mind of dualism, he thinks, that I have the power to give life to God/Consciousness, and if I so desire, to kill him/it as well.
Biblical scriptures are the Way of awakening out of the sleep of man's arrogance of specialness in the Mind of God; one of these scriptures that slaps man's self righteousness right in its face is the scripture that tells man that every knee shall bow. Perhaps man must come down to the very ground of his conscious sense awareness of the cockroach, look into its eyes and see God looking back before he wakes up and begins his journey of repenting his vain and arrogant journey of believing that to have a human mind is the same thing as being the Mind of God. Man loves to quote Jesus when he said "be as the lily", but suggest that he actually live as the lily lives, that is, without conscious awareness of being this thing called "lily", this thing called "man", and he recoils at the thought.
What is the single mental expression of man's that I have come to understand that keeps him from being as the lily or the cockroach, that is, without the mental covering of ego, of "I think, therefore, I am"? The human belief in love. I am fully aware of how my words will be received, for to suggest that man transcend his feeling sense of 'love' is akin to committing the ultimate blasphemy. But, I ask you to think on the truth that until the human mind appeared, love was not necessary. When did love become necessary? When the human mind came to believe that it was THE appearance or arrival of THE TRUTH of God. This was a lie, and being a lie, became man's shadow of fear. Is there a human mind that does not experience fear? I can think of not a one. And being in fear of his lie that he will not acknowledge as a lie, he covers up his fear of his lie with the feeling sense he calls love. As long as he loves, he believes, he is special in the Mind of God and need not look into the truth that God's thought of "man" has nothing to do with man's thought of "God." As long as he loves, he believes, he can travel [flow] away from his fear and his lie into his imaginations of God.
Love is not necessary for God to be God. The appearance of the lily and the cockroach and the birds and the planets to man's conscious awareness are evidence of this truth. However, for man, whose mind would not exist if it were not for the shadow of belief in dualism, the love thought has become a necessity, evidence that to get beyond the human mind of its shadow fear of dualism, one must go through the human mind of shadow fear of dualism. Love God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind, the human conscious is told, and righteously so, for while man lives in the arrogance of his pride that he has or is THE mind of God, human thought is the only way he can comprehend that he does not have or is not, THE mind of God. The human mind is an expression of the law of Spirit of life, of God's Mind, no more, no less.
Precept by precept, line by line we are humbled of our arrogant belief that the Mind of God came alive when the expression of God's that is the human mind of man came alive: love is one of those precepts and lines that carry us past our fear of the lie that when the human mind dies, conscious awareness dies. The lily says 'hah!', the cockroach says 'hah!' ... silly, silly man!
